Our team creates plenty of wall graphics for schools in Los Angeles, CA. What makes them popular in elementary, middle, high schools, and colleges?

Case Study: Clinton Elementary School

Located at 6500 East Compton Boulevard in Compton, Clinton Elementary School is the home of the Lions. The curriculum emphasizes language acquisition and technology. D&D was busy remodeling and building out school classrooms at the venue. Part of the process was integrating learning-focused furniture, layout changes, and computer desk setups.

This company contacted us when they decided to add two large wall wraps in one large room at the school that is currently used as the library. One of the designs is a doodle wall design where the client can fit a monitor into its center. The larger custom mural is at the location where the school lets students compete against one another (and other district students) at video gaming.

The vibrant colors and well-thought-out sizing impressed not only the client but also the school’s administration. D&D asked us to collaborate on a similar project at the next-door high school.

Wall Graphics and Murals for Schools Make Sense (and are budget-friendly!)

Vinyl wall decals and murals are powerful tools to inspire students to excel. Not surprisingly, we do a lot of wall wraps and decals for high school athletics departments. However, there is so much more that schools can do with them.

  • Visual engagement. Bright and colorful graphics grab students’ attention and make the learning environment more inviting. For example, a multilingual word wall graphic combines school spirit and focuses on language acquisition.
  • Motivation. Positive messages like quotes, affirmations, and motivational word wall phrases encourage a positive attitude toward learning. We can combine them with images of famous scientists, authors, or explorers to inspire students to learn more about their achievements and see them as role models.
  • A stimulating environment. Artistic graphics inspire creativity and encourage children to express themselves. Additionally, graphics that tell a story spark curiosity and interest in reading and writing. If you want to add technology to the mix, consider incorporating augmented reality (AR) wall graphics that interact with tablets or smartphones to create a dynamic learning experience.
  • School community. Graphics featuring school mascots or symbols can foster a sense of belonging and pride. For older students, it makes sense to display educational themes that help these learners focus on their future. A good example is the wall wrap that shows images of graduations.
