We were back to collaborate with Motive Energy and ACT. The client’s latest project for us involved cost-efficient building signs in Orange County, CA.

Motive Energy is a Returning Client

Our team has done a lot of work for Motive Energy. Just recently, we assisted the company with its rebranding efforts and put up durable aluminum building signs. Other projects we undertook include frosted glass graphics and a monument sign refacing.

Designing, Producing, and Installing Foam Letters as Building Signs

It is important to note that Motive has two brands that recently underwent a logo change. We had already worked at the Anaheim location to change the building signage. Therefore, we needed to head over to the Fountain Valley location that houses the ACT and Motive Energy brands.

For this project, the client asked us to remove five foam logo signs that featured the old branding. We were then to replace them with new logo signs. Look closely, and you will notice that there are two pillars on the building by the entrance. We replaced the four upper signs (two on each side). Besides that, we replaced the ACT logo above the receiving dock, where it serves as a wayfinding tool for truckers coming in from the street.

The finished products perfectly reflect the new branding.

A Closer Look at Foam Signs and Logos

Foam sounds like something soft and not very durable. However, this is incorrect. Instead, sign foam is a tough product that is nevertheless budget-friendly. Examples of foam signage include foam core signs, which you have seen at trade shows, and polystyrene foam signage that does very well in retail settings.

High-density foam is lightweight but suitable for building signs. The material resists moisture and rot. Best of all, it does not appeal to sunny Southern California’s bugs. Our technicians can paint foam letters and logos to reflect your corporate color palette. Some clients have had excellent success with having us add acrylic or metallic laminates to the letter fronts.

These give the illusion that the sign is made of the more expensive material.

Staying Within the Budget When Rebranding

Any time you make changes to your branding, it takes money to translate them into visible, tangible displays. You are changing marketing collateral, letterheads, and, of course, signage. Investing in cost-efficient building signs in Orange County or Los Angeles County frequently means opting for outdoor-rated sign foam.

That said, there are other materials to choose from as well. For example, three-dimensional building letters using PVC are excellent alternatives. Find out more about your options. Call us for a free quote today!
