NOVA Academy is a returning client. For the latest projects we undertook for them, we headed to the Coachella Campus. The administration needed us to put together the same eye-catching signs and graphics for high schools we did in Orange County, CA.
Building a School Spirit Environment That Encourages Learning and Success
We had previously worked with the NOVA Academy on designing, producing, and installing custom-printed wallpaper, perforated window graphics advertising the facility, wall murals and vinyl wraps, and word wall graphics for the school’s workout studio. For the school’s satellite campus, we focused primarily on exterior signage.
Because the client loved the work we did, they did not want to contract with a local sign shop, but have us handle the project in Riverside County. No problem! Our team replaced some banners that were on the buildings with durable aluminum composite signs that we protected against the sun with cast vinyl graphics.
These panels have cast vinyl and cast laminate, so they will last years longer than standard signage products. We replaced a rectangular shield banner with a contour-cut shield that dramatically boosts the facility’s curb appeal.
Another project we undertook was a set of vinyl graphics for the school’s two shuttle vans. The blue custom color for the graphics beautifully contrasts with the white of the vans’ base color. We added the logo, school name, and a brief runner spelling out what makes the Academy excellent for students.
Designing, Producing, and Installing Signs and Graphics for High Schools
In Orange County, L.A. County, or now in Riverside County, our team has worked with a lot of high schools over the years. These facilities have unique signage needs. What is similar, however, is the importance of safety and durability. For example, when we worked on the Santa Ana Valley High School’s new golf center, the administration also requested putting together a fully functional dry-erase vinyl scoreboard.
For San Gabriel High School, we outfitted the newly renovated gym with custom wall graphics for school gymnasiums. This client had rough stucco wall surfaces that needed to be covered with the imprinted vinyl. Our technicians used specialty vinyl that was custom-made for this type of surface. It ensured durability and prevented peeling.
