Student safety and campus security are critical for school districts across the Southland. We have collaborated with several administrators who determined one aspect of security to be perforated window graphics in Orange County and neighboring L.A. Let’s take a closer look!

Case Study: Canyon Crest Elementary School
Canyon Crest Elementary is the home of the Coyotes. Our team won the bid for this school’s project to install perforated window graphics on all exterior windows facing the street. The primary purpose of these graphics is security; however, they are also suitable for decorative and branding purposes. Additionally, the client chose graphics and lettering that emphasize the school’s values of being positive, accountable, careful, and kind.
Our graphic artist did the design, which technicians in the shop then printed. Next, we went to the facility and installed window graphics in 17 classrooms, the library, administrative offices, and the hallway entrance. The images prominently feature the school’s mascot. Moreover, we incorporated the school’s colors in every graphic. Most importantly, while you can see out, passersby cannot see into the school. In this way, the see-through window graphics provide security at this elementary school.

Superior Signs and Graphics Specializes in Security Features for Southland Schools
We have worked with several school districts to heighten security at their campuses. For example, the ICEF Vista Academy in Los Angeles also requested perforated window graphics for their venue. At this setting, the administration asked us to treat unused window panes across the facility to beautify the campus while also creating a welcoming environment.
That said, perforated window graphics are not the only options for schools looking to keep their students more secure. An excellent example is the set of heavy-duty mesh fence banners that we did for schools in the Little Lake City School District. These banners cover the chain link fencing surrounding the playgrounds. Facing the students, the banners display fun graphics of children playing. The reason for the banner installation is to prevent passersby from calling out to specific kids while they are on the playground during recess.
