Motive Energy Rebrands and Needs to Adjust Its Signage Solutions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The business recently changed its logo. As a result, it was time to update the building sign. Our graphic artist worked with the client\u2019s specs and translated them into hollow-back aluminum letters. While our technicians worked on fabricating the products, another crew removed the client\u2019s foam sign and painted the space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our goal was to cover the old sign marks and years of dirt stains. With this step complete, we could then install the aluminum logo and lettering. Look closely; you will notice that they are three inches deep and painted black with a satin finish. These letters are attractive and look fantastic when they cast a shadow on the facade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Working With Aluminum on More Than Only 3D Building Letters<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Aluminum is a highly versatile material. It is a favorite for outdoor projects because it is impervious to insects and weather damage. A case in point is the aluminum building lettering<\/a> we prepared for the County of Orange. We stud-mounted the letters to the facade, where they look great and assist visitors with wayfinding. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, we have also brought aluminum to the inside. It is an excellent addition to mixed-media signage. A good example is the custom acrylic and brushed aluminum lobby logo sign<\/a> we did for a law firm in Irvine. Clear acrylic serves as the panel to which we mounted three-dimensional brushed aluminum letters. It is an elegant display solution. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course, brushed aluminum looks sophisticated on its own. An engineering firm in L.A. wanted to display its logo prominently in the lobby<\/a>. Brushed aluminum was the ideal solution and also allowed for a stunning contrast to the dark blue wall color. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
