Lobby Sign: Cable System Hanging Display for Ellis Energy Investments, Vista, CA
Every business needs an inviting lobby sign to welcome guests in their reception area. The front entry wall is a focal point for most every business. So, when Ellis Energy Investments, Inc., located in Vista, CA, asked us create an attractive lobby sign for their front focal point wall, we rose to the challenge.
Ellis Energy Investments, Inc. is a Seed Investment Company that helps early stage companies launch, monetize and grow their businesses. The challenge was to create a high-tech looking feature wall with versatility to expand and grow with the number of companies in their portfolio. Multiple panels would accommodate various companies.
We presented the idea of a high-tech stainless steel cable system mounted the wall. On the six cables, they could display customers logos on plaques, suspended from the wires in three columns.
The panels could be added or removed as projects were completed. Designed with a purpose so they can display up to 9 individual panels. So far, the three customers include: Pyron Solar, GridCom Technologies and Reservoir Management Services.
The construction for each panel was created with 1/8″ thick clear acrylic. To add visual depth to the panels, white vinyl was applied on the second surface. Applied to the first surface on the front of the panel, each full-color logo was printed and laminated on each acrylic panel. This method allows the graphics to be removed easily.
This further provides the flexibility to remove graphics and apply new logos so they can re-use the panels and conserve costs in the future. Wires with chic aluminum clamps hold each plaque. Easily adjusted for ideal placement.
The customer completed the lobby with decor accents of a small console, decorative vase with reeds all against a freshly painted gorgeous blue wall. An intriguing entrance for an emerging high-tech company! Stylish and high-tech.
