This was the case with Life Pack Labs in Vista, CA. After constructing a customized logo graphic for their front window, they requested we design and fabricate a new lobby sign, as well. As a full-service sign and graphics company, North Coast Signs prides itself on tailored signage suited specifically for our client’s needs.
Life Pack Labs had two requests. They wanted glass to be the main component, and for the new lobby sign to have a dimensional that matched the feel of their scientific company. We were happy to rise to the occasion. We began with beveled glass in opposition to the use of acrylic, along with the graphics and lettering made of cut vinyl to match the existing logo window graphic. We used 1/4” thick translucent, tempered glass with rounded corners for a clean and durable look. Holes were made 1.5” from the edge to the center of the hole, and possessed 3/4” beveled edges. On the second surface we adhered a frosted vinyl film with 1.5” inset from edges for a sophisticated look. We also included four 1” diameter standoffs in brushed aluminum finish for mounting ½” from the wall to add the dimensional look that was requested.
