Client: The Fit Mill
When a new business is preparing for the opening of their establishment, it is vital to properly market your facility with custom exterior signage. The Fit Mill needed a tailor made sign package, as well as outdated sign removal, and North Coast Signs knew they could help!
The previous electrical sign (evolve) was removed from side of the building overlooking the glass doors. We replaced the outdated sign with a non-illuminated dimensional letter sign. The updated sign measured in at 21 inches x 102 inches, fabricated from 1 inch thick exterior grade foam that had .032 aluminum facing. Semi-gloss gray paint was used to give the sign some color, and it was mounted using VHB and silicone. To create a cohesive sign package, we decided to integrate the company’s logo and brand into window graphics, and a double-sided vinyl sign, as well. The second sign we designed for The Fit Mill, was a store front sign measuring in at 11 inches by 52 inches.
In the image above, notice the sign on the side of the building over the doors. The 3-D look that draws the eye will create a lasting first impression in the minds of the public. Below and to the right, you will see a photo of the sign close up. To the left and below, we have an image of the completed hanging sign. 
This sign possesses our client’s business brand, style, and compliments their location perfectly!
Besides the removal process of the original signs, we also went through many other challenges to get this sign project ready before The Fit Mill’s grand opening. North Coast Signs procured approvals from the Landlord, and The City of Carlsbad Planning & Building Departments. We worked with our client to update the sign criteria in order to receive the appropriate permits in a timely fashion. It all came together, and the finished sign package for The Fit Mill was a success!
