We received a call from Children’s Paradise, a local childcare center in Oceanside, California, who wanted a new sign to put on their storefront in time for their grand opening. After looking over the establishment and speaking with the client, we determined that channel lettering would work best for their needs. Using their logo, we created illuminated channel letter signage.
In the picture, you can see how the use of the day/night channel letters help to make their storefront pop. The day/night channel letters illuminate the signage blue during the day and white at night.
Children’s Paradise is a newly-opened childcare center located in Oceanside, CA. They promise to “build a creative classroom environment that sparks imagination and fosters a deep desire to learn within the heart of your child.” Their facility can take children from as young as six weeks all the way up to age 12 in the after school program.
Our first step in creating this sign for Children’s Paradise was to get in touch with the City of Oceanside to go over permits and regulations. We updated the center’s existing signage to match the city of Oceanside’s regulations. As soon as we received the permit, we went to work. We put in a blue name with green for the sub-text. The blue letters with perforated vinyl will appear blue during daytime hours and then appear white overnight. The green letters will change to a translucent green in the overnight hours. All channel letters were equipped with returns and trim caps to match the daytime colors. Flush mount installation was included as well.
