When Upper Deck, a sports and entertainment memorabilia company, reached out to us about their upcoming relocation, we were eager to help. As with all our corporate clients, we pay careful attention to listen to their needs, and provide just what they are looking for. As moving to a new location, they needed new corporate signage for their new building, owned by H.G. Fenton. They wanted their new location to have quality signage that fit the new office building.
Upper Deck started out as a trading card dealer in the late 1980s. These days they are so much more. They trade in all kinds of sports and entertainment memorabilia. Whether you love collecting baseball, football or Disney merchandise, Upper Deck are the people you need to go visit. They have stores all over the USA, as well as a great online store.
The client needed corporate signage for two major areas: building and monument.
The existing monument structure needed to have their logo façade created. We duplicated their logo, and created the corporate sign from ½” thick acrylic and used premium exterior vinyl with a UV-resistant overlaminate.
The second corporate sign was for the building sign for which we used 090 aluminum for a reverse pan with 2” returns, custom shaped for the Upper Deck logo. We applied the same top-quality vinyl for the full-color logo, and applied UV laminate to help protect against fading and exposure to the elements.
Once all permits and approvals had been authorized, production could begin. We installed both signs on the same day, as appropriate for their grand opening.
