A new building sign for a new location! We recently completed a project for Core Construction, located in Vista, California. They were a new customer and when we noticed that their site was only a few miles away, we headed right over there to see how we could help them. They were looking for a new building sign for one of their projects and we were happy to help!
Acrylic Business Sign
They wanted the building sign made using an existing logo that was mainly red and black. It ended up with a custom font and measured 30″h x 134″w upon completion. The sign was ½” thick pigmented acrylic in the red and black colors. We flush/stud mounted it to the front of the building.
Core Construction is a local full-service construction firm serving the Vista, California area and beyond. When we first got to the site, we did a site survey with photos and measurements. The logo needs to be vector format (.ai, .eps, or high-res .pdf) to be usable for production.
Our design team went right to work, creating a design proof to show what the sign would look like. They scaled their logo for a design proof using the photo and measurements. Each sign we create is customized to fit into the specific space that is allotted for it. The customer approved both the design and the price that our estimating department sent out.
After receiving the 50% down payment, we began work on the permit application process. This first involves getting approval from the landlord. After we received the okay from the landlord, we had to next seek approval from the City of Vista. The permit process can take anywhere between 1 and 30 days. As soon as we get the permits in hand, we begin work on the new sign. It takes up to ten business days for us to complete a sign but only a day to install it.
