Custom wayfinding signs may be a necessity but that does not mean they need to be boring. While nearly everyone can agree that wayfinding signs are a big help in getting around, especially in a busy or complicated building, not all custom wayfinding signage is equal. One of our clients recently asked us to create a set of dimensional letters to use as hallway room signs, adding both function and style to their unique preschool in Oceanside, CA.

The letter in the image below is one example of the full set of 50-dimensional letters we custom designed and manufactured for our client. Each room label was scaled to the desired size as specified by our client. The letters were all made from 1/4” thick flat cut aluminum with a brushed finish, and an in-lined overlay of maple Formica faces, chosen for style, durability, and its modern but playful look.

Children’s Paradise, our client, runs a preschool/infant center in Oceanside, as well as several other centers around the area. Every center is special and unique to its students and their families, but they all share some similar qualities — Children’s Paradise takes great care in providing quality care to every one of their students.
