One of our clients in Carlsbad, CA, Save On Resorts, contacted us to get a quote on a new exterior sign that was updated so that it could be seen better at night. We knew an illuminated sign would be ideal for this purpose, but had to do a bit of work to ensure that the design was approved by both the City of Carlsbad, and the building landlord. Ultimately, we worked with our client and the other parties to create a beautiful exterior sign that made everyone happy.

With different sign criteria from the landlord and the City, City of Carlsbad in this case, we first made sure the landlord approved our design. Once we had their approval, we moved on to the City of Carlsbad. We are comfortable knowing what most cities required so when we applied for the permits, we were confident they would approve our paperwork. As a full service company, we occasionally are required to make small changes in order to complete the project, but we don’t waste any time getting loose ends tied so we can ensure a timely installation. Having the trust of our clients is extremely important and we always want them to know we can handle any modifications needed.
Exterior Reverse Pan Sign
Once everything is approved and Save On Resorts gave us the final go ahead on the Design Teams proof, we moved forward with the custom fabricating. We made a custom illuminated reverse pan letter sign which features 23.5” tall letters that create the Save on Resorts logo, (SOR) on a hinged, 2” deep, 24” by 306” wireway painted the appropriate exterior color. One thing we often need to secure is the use of a boom lift which makes it possible to correctly do the installation. Again, we’ve got it and our clients can just sit back and relax while we handle all the details and make sure everything is completed correctly.
Our client, Save On Resorts, provides customized technology and fulfillment services for membership and loyalty programs. Its core business offers member-based travel fulfillment services through proprietary Web-based technologies that enhance the consumer experience by allowing users to customize individual travel. Knowing how high tech their business is, we wanted to make sure that their sign would reflect that same concept.

Our favorite part of every project is when we can see the finished result. Seeing everything come to fruition is so rewarding. We’ll often run over to take photos for our files and admire the good collaboration of work between our installers, production and design team. Every job well done gives us a sense of accomplishment.
