Custom Acrylic Lobby Sign
Every time we get an email from a new client, it’s like having a clean slate with endless possibilities. When we discussed this lobby sign project with a local well-known attorney, Anna Yum, we were inspired. She was opening a new office and was looking for guidance for a new lobby sign inside her office. After speaking with her, we knew her sign had to be polished, professional and clean. Learning more about her practice, we listened how her office space was set up. The lobby sign panel needed to complement her office — the colors, look and feel. The sign also needed to showcase her logo and present a professional image to her clients.
Anna Yum is a premier criminal defense and DUI attorney in San Diego who is extremely results-driven and goal-oriented. Ms. Yum was specifically chosen to appear on the cover of the prestigious San Diego Attorney Journal Magazine, a highly selective honor featuring only the top. Knowing he standing in the community made it even more of a challenge for us to make sure that we really thought outside of the box on her sign.
There are so many options to interpret what we had in mind for Ms. Yum’s lobby panel sign. So, in looking at her beautifully designed logo, our team wanted to find a way to make it really pop using dimensional lettering. Making sure we had all the information we needed for the space where the lobby sign would be installed, our Design Team got to work in laying some creative ideas. Once we had her approval on the design proof, then fabrication could begin.
Starting with a clear acrylic background that was flame polished, with beveled edges the sign took on a classy, modern look. But that was just the start. We then layered acrylic letters in a beautiful brushed silver that would be mounted on top of the acrylic panel. Once it the sign was complete, our Installation Team went to work and mounted the panel with stainless steel standoffs for a perfect finished look.
