One of our clients, the Monster Tool Company, came to us and asked for us to help them update and existing monument sign. When we stopped by for a site survey. It’s important to survey the existing signage, so we could how to propose updates. The logo branding colors changed to a sleek black and gray with a hint of red. Using a machine-steel look throughout their web site, we proposed some ideas.
Established in the sign business for several years, we know many ways to design signage. The goal is to translate the look and feel of your company with different materials, accessories, etc. Monster Tool Company is known for producing modern, high-quality tools. So, we wanted to give them that same modern look to their signage. We’re proud of the end result and they loved how we took their new direction and reflected it in a clean, streamlined look.
Founded in Southern California, Monster Tool Company is an American manufacturer of solid carbide cutting tools, which provide technology solutions to manufacturers globally. Focusing on the pillar sectors of manufacturing – aerospace, automotive, medical, energy, heavy equipment, and die-mold – Monster’s tooling solutions support critical operations in creating some of the world’s most advanced products. It was our goal to create for them a new monument sign that reflected everything they project as a company.
Our team manufactured a single-sided non-illuminated monument sign using the best quality materials, at 49” high by 120” wide and 12” deep, using the existing six-inch concrete base. Using the aluminum base, we made a custom frosted acrylic curved piece to show off the address numbers in dimensional acrylic. We designed the Monster logo to shine in red acrylic channel letters with silver trim cap. Also added a tenant panel with custom full-color vinyl prints mounted to an aluminum panel completes the sign.
Since we offer a one-stop service, before we placed the new monument sign, we removed and took care of discarding the old monument and then transported and installed the new monument in its place. We also performed the site survey, took photos and measurements, and provided engineering services for using the existing pad, sign drawings, and plans for installation. We are a full-service company, and we work carefully with each and every client from start to finish to ensure that their projects are a success. We consider ourselves a one-stop shop for sign design and manufacturing.
One thing to keep in mind when designing a monument sign, it’s one of the first things your customers will see. A beautiful monument sign is a great way to make a memorable first impression. But also, as important, we keep your budget in mind, trying to use existing features like a concrete pad which can help make the project affordable. We are always happy to work with our clients, balancing their needs and their budget. From the first design proof through to the completed installation, we’re here to help.
