Channel letter signs work well for building identification, and can be illuminated for visibility at night. These signs are large, bold, legible, and often feature illumination detailing that widens the range of visibility in any setting. Recently, our team was approached by Sam Ash Music Stores to assist in the fabrication and installation of several channel letter signs for their new store opening, located in San Diego, CA. The new facility used to be a Staples, and needed to be rebranded with our current client’s logo and information.
The first sign that we developed was a single face LED illuminated logo sign measuring in at 7’4” x 23’-1/4”. This oval shaped sign is the flagship logo of the Sam Ash Brand, and is consistent with the rest of the store location branding. In addition, we constructed LED illuminated channel letters that stated, “DRUMS”, “GUITARS”, “PRO-AUD
IO”, and “KEYBOARDS”. These signs are featured around the left and right storefront, and can be seen in the images above and below. Over the door signage is the custom illuminated channel letters: “COME IN AND PLAY!” This welcoming sign invites all to experience the joy of the musical instruments and equipment that the Sam Ash Brand is known to offer.
In order to secure the right measurements and to fully complete this sign package, our team included an in-depth site survey, a final inspection, and a repaint of address number “8” white to match other numbers. We also produced custom ground signs for a total of six tenant panels for existing pylon.
