When we were contacted by a San Diego commercial property landlord to supply custom address numbers, we weren’t too surprised. We’ve been making stylish dimensional letters and numbers for many years now. Done well, they suggest longevity, trust, and loyalty to drivers and passersby. For this project, we were creating address numbers for a large property in a pleasant suburb of Carlsbad.
The existing monument sign has a pale background, so we designed the address numbers in a dark, anodized finish for greatest clarity. You can see in the photo that there’s a real 3D depth to the four metal numbers that make up 3150. We sized these dimensional numbers at 10” height, so that they were clearly visible to pedestrians and drivers.
The beauty of a project like this is that it often leads to repeat business, and not just from the client. The businesses which lease office space in the building complex all have their own signage requirements, for lobbies, ADA, and much more. As it happened, the original client was thrilled with his address sign and ordered more, while we also received additional business from the tenants.
We used artwork from the client to determine the precise font to ensure brand consistency. The numbers were made from injection molded plastic. To ensure they weathered the elements, the completed numbers with a dark Duranodic Bronze finish. This also gave them a dark, attractive color. All delivered numbers came with mounting templates attached so they could be easily fixed to the monument sign.
These dimensional numbers never fade under UV rays and will maintain their appearance for many years. Solid and clear, they turn the heads of passersby and help to market your business. Our graphics design software enables us to design letters and numbers in specific font style, maintaining brand consistency. Dimensional lettering is easy to clean and maintain, and can be replaced without fuss if needed. There is a range of colors and finishes, from light through to dark.
If you already have some ideas about how you would like to display your building address, why not send us some preliminary sketches? These can be uploaded via our online form in image or pdf format. During business hours, there’s always a friendly member of staff on the end of the line to discuss your sign requirements. Just pick up the phone and dial 760.536.5454.
