A community health center in Los Angeles recently contacted us because they were looking for a sign company that could handle both their interior and exterior signage. They chose to go with us because we have expertise in ADA compliant signs for their interior signs, and we have years of experience in permitting, manufacturing, and installing exterior signs in Los Angeles.

The reason that the ADA signs were finished and installed before the exterior sign was because exterior signs need to be permitted. While it does take time to make sure that all of the ADA signs are up to code, sometimes the exterior sign permit can take a little longer.
Once we have the approval from the customer, landlord, and the city, we can secure a permit and start production on the sign. Both building identification signs were identical. All of the letters were routed from brown acrylic and the signature was painted a brushed aluminum finish. We also made address numbers from the same brown acrylic to go on the side of the building that faces Vermont Ave. Choosing a pre-colored acrylic is not only more affordable compared to a custom color, but it also speeds up the production process because a whole step of painting or laying vinyl is taken out.
