We do many signs projects for real estate management companies and their many properties. This sign is an existing monument sign at a property managed by Meridian Group Real Estate in Goleta, California. The concrete monument sign was already there, but they needed new signs made to display the businesses located in the shopping center. New monument signs require a sign permit, but if you are replacing information on an existing sign, a permit is not necessary.
Due to the different logo colors, we used acrylic dimensional letters for the signs. Acrylic comes in standard colors, and it can also be custom painted. The letters and logos were all cut from 3/8″ black acrylic and were painted based aside from the logo and “SECUREDOC,” for SECUREDOCS Inc., and the Nexus Photonics logo. Some companies such as SHP will have brand guide that calls out specific colors that need to be used for the logo. Many logos are only designed for the web so if you only have CMYK colors to refer to, we can work with you to find a Pantone match to use for your sign.
In order to install the letters onto the concrete monument sign, they were studded and installed into holes that we made in the sign with silicone.
