Monument signs can take a lot of engineering and permitting so you want an experienced sign company helping out with your project. Nestle Purina was looking for a custom-made monument sign which we did the design, manufacturing, permitting, and installation for. The sign is a double-sided aluminum sign with a concrete base. The aluminum is powder coated, and the logo is made from pained aluminum dimensional letters. The skirt of the sign is designed with stacked stone panels. This sign is non-illuminated, but if you are interested in a self-illuminated sign, we can make a box sign monument sign or install illuminated letters on the sign as long as you have electricity running to the sign location.
The original design of the sign did not change during the permitting process, but we did have to make adjustments to the base a few times. Exterior signs including building signs do need a permit from the city before they can be installed. Once we apply for the permit, there is always a chance that the city will request changes before they approve the sign. We do not start production on signs that need a permit before the permit is secured in case the changes, they request require changes to the design.
