AS Aerospace is an aerospace fastener manufacturer with a new location in Santa Clarita, California. They were renovating the building that they were moving into and needed logo signs to identify their new space. We made a building sign and a lobby sign for them. The building sign required a permit and more manufacturing time so we installed the lobby sign first since we were able to complete it quicker.
A building sign is very important to a business and in some cases, a storefront sign is even required by a property manager if you’re in a shopping plaza. Although a lobby sign isn’t as visible to the public, it is still very important for branding. To make this lobby sign, we made flat-cut acrylic letters and digitally printed the gradient pattern of the logo onto vinyl to be applied to the faces of the acrylic letters. We would normally use a pre-colored acrylic or custom paint the acrylic letters, but when there is a specific pattern or texture like a gradient, we like to digitally print it for accuracy. Using our large format printer, we can customize your lobby sign to make sure that it is an accurate representation of your logo. We try to avoid digital printing for outdoor signs due to the sun exposure, but for indoor signs, it is a perfect way to customize signage.
