We have made two building signs in the past for Bartz-Altadonna, and we were more than happy to help them out with a third sign for their newest location. In order to include everything they wanted to display in their new sign we used a combination of different materials and substrates.
The large letters on the sign are all front-lit channel letters. We used translucent vinyl on the faces for the different colors. The vinyl is cut into the shape of the letters and laid onto translucent white acrylic which is also routed out into the shape of each letter. The logo is also a front-lit channel letter, but due to the amount of detail in the logo, we used a digital print instead of cut vinyl. The logo artwork was digitally printed onto translucent white vinyl, and applied to the faces. The smaller letters around the logo were too small to make into channel letters, so they are made from 1/2″ thick painted acrylic dimensional letters.
