When the San Diego Unified School District needed building signs for schools in San Diego CA, the administration contacted All Star Signs. With a solid reputation for coming in on time and budget, our sign shop went to work.
3D Lettering Provides Wayfinding and Façade Chic
The District needed signage for Carson Elementary Magnet School and Herbert Hoover High School. Both venues had different frontage needs, which our graphic artist took into consideration when designing the three-dimensional letters.
We manufactured and produced 3D letters for the elementary school that our technicians painted in the same blue color as the site’s doorways and roof trim. Next, we mounted the elements above the entryway. In this way, the signage contrasts beautifully against the cream-colored walls and creates an attractive visual presentation.
The high school had different needs. There, the site’s architectural design included a ledge that was perfect for the display of bottom-mounted dimensional letters. Therefore, we manufactured lettering that complements the metal style elements from the façade. Our installers then mounted these letters – standing up – on the ledge for an elegant look.
Do You Still Need Building Signs for Schools in San Diego CA?
Whether you are part of the San Diego Unified School District or operate an independent private school, our sign shop will gladly assist you with designing, producing, and installing building signs. Schools typically favor 3D letters for the façades, but you might also choose box cabinets, channel letters, cloud signs, or building panels.
By the way, we could also assist with your other signage needs. Frequently, schools opt to display wall graphics or murals to upgrade the aesthetics of classrooms and study areas. If you are unsure whether you have all the required ADA-compliant signs, we can help with this project as well.
