Taking on a contracting project at Oak Valley Middle School, the firm hired us as a subcontractor to produce and install top-mounted 3D building letters in San Diego CA for the Poway Unified School District.
Boosting School Pride with Custom Building Letters
Oak Valley Middle School is located at 16055 Winecreek Road. With the colors being blue and white, the mascot is the falcon. When the contractor finished the project’s aspect focusing on the highly visible entryway, the firm asked our sign shop to showcase the school’s commitment to student pride.
We did so by designing, producing, and installing dimensional letters that identify the location as the “Home of the Falcons.” You will notice that these are top-mounted 3D letters. We fabricated these letters using 3/8-inch-thick aluminum. They are attached to a sloped ceiling, so we had to match the angle of the ceiling with the mounting bar in order for the letters to hang straight up and down.
