You want the customer to notice you. Effective building signs in and around San Diego make it possible. However, which signage solution is right for you?
Popular Building Signs
Channel letters, lightbox cabinets, and 3D letters are among the most popular signage solutions for business owners in Southern California. They get attention, are excellent for wayfinding purposes, and effectively advertise a company. Concurrently, they can introduce or continue a brand conversation. However, one size does not fit all.
Shining the Spotlight on Three-Dimensional Building Letters
We have previously spoken at length about channel letters and lightbox cabinets. They are excellent signage solutions and look fantastic. That said, some business owners do better with 3D letters. For example, if you have facade-mounted lighting, you could benefit from the installation of unlit lettering.
Moreover, 3D letters open a variety of design opportunities you might not have with the other building markers. For example, half-inch-thick acrylic letters, like we did for the 10X Academy, are fantastic when you want to go big and draw attention to the facade without overwhelming the architecture.
However, you do not have to limit yourself to acrylic alone. Other clients have chosen metals such as bronze, copper, or aluminum. Cor-Ten steel is a favorite for upscale settings where the material must become an integral aspect of the brand story. Outdoor-rated sign foam is another option. The same goes for manufactured lettering.
Saving Money with Refurbishing
Another consideration is the longevity of the material. Acrylic lasts for a long time. If intense sun exposure should lighten the colors, we can refurbish the letters, which simply means that we repaint them. Some clients opt to have us refurbish other signage solutions as well. Examples include pylon sign tenant panels or the lettering on monument signs.
