For the newest location of the Old Republic Title Insurance Group in Tomball, TX, they were looking to partner with a sign company that shared their vision and values when it comes to quality of service and how customers are treated in their company. When they were referred to Monarch Sign & Graphics, the partnership quickly began with their signage needs for the new building.
Having already worked in the retail building with previous clients, Monarch Sign & Graphics was able to quickly develop a plan and strategy to help create a cohesive look and feel for the new location and building. As a local company, Monarch understood how to work with the local governing authorities and had already worked with the property managers in the past, making a quick and easy transition from conception to installation.
The project entailed many parts, including custom ADA signs, exterior window graphics, building sign, tenant panels, and a custom lobby sign for the reception area. For the lobby sign, there was a high contrast created by utilizing some of the top-quality materials Monarch Sign & Graphics have to offer.
The team used a high gloss finish after laser cutting the letters and graphic elements of the logo out of black acrylic. Using a laser to cut acrylic leaves the edges and sides as polished as the front of the letters, leading to a more consistent look for the sign. The sign came with a much bigger challenge, however.
The sign was to be hung on a wall with natural rock and a heavy texture applied to the surface. Finding the right placement and installing the sign without damaging the tiles is something many sign companies would shy away from or charge extra for the installation. The expert craftsman at Monarch Sign & Graphics was ready for the task. There were over 80 holes drilled for the installation without a single tile being damaged.
To ensure the letters and graphic elements were perfectly aligned, they were first installed loosely. This helped to allow the installers to better place them once they were on the wall. Once the right alignment was achieved, the letters were adhered to the wall by the studs and the protective covers that were left on the acrylic letters to save from damager were removed, leaving a happy, satisfied customer.
