Our new neighbour, Lids + Laces, required some window graphics for their new office space. Once we created their new overhead outdoor back lit sign, they were so happy, that they asked us to create some Window Graphics for their office front windows. The space that they acquired from the previous occupants had bars across the front of their windows and doors. In order to create a more inviting and friendly welcome, these bars needed to be camouflaged as removing them was not a viable option. They also needed to be able to see out of the windows and to have some natural light. We had just the solution. We were able to create their custom graphics using Perforated vinyl.
Perforated vinyl is wonderful product as it allows the image/graphic to be seen outside from the front of the building/window, while having the ability to see through it from the inside. As well, natural light is able to come in. In this image, we covered 3 large windows using perforated vinyl. This is a great way to advertise your product or service. It really personalizes your space! In fact, after only one day, Lids + Laces had someone come in off the street as a result of their new windows inquiring about their business. In this industrial area, this would usually be most uncommon. As well, this successfully camouflaged the bars on the windows.
In the image above, the new window graphics was created using “Signmax 60/40 laminate with another optically clear over laminate”. The over laminate is vital (and not always used by some companies thereby lessening the quality of workmanship) as it keeps the dust and dirt out of the holes and keeps the window graphic vinyl looking clean and fresh longer. The window graphics create a look that is totally unique and provides high visibility for the client.
Lids + Laces have developed a modified, patented baseball cap. Their hat laces up at the back, using hockey laces…a “laceback”! They also provide t-shirts and joggers, as well as embroidery. Their cap concept is totally new and innovative! Soon to be seen everywhere, the caps are clever and creative.
