We recently completed a project for Norelco SafeCAM. They were originally looking to replace their overhead sign lights with efficient LED lights. They determined that this would also be a great time to replace the old sign with a new one. We worked with a local electrical contractor, “Tekno Electrik” to install the new LED lights.
Norelco SafeCAM is “North America’s CCTV and Network Specialists”. They sell a wide variety of Networking, CCTV, Phone Equipment, Cables and Audio and Video equipment. They can be found at www.norelcosafecam.com. Their Markham branch office signs were worn out both the lights and the sign was in need of replacement.
The project started primarily because most of the lights in their overhead sign were burnt out. We took this opportunity to look into converting the florescent lights to LED lights. LED lights are much more efficient in the amount of energy they consume. The cost of converting to LED lights today has dropped significantly. The lights will last a long time without needing to be replaced. They will use considerably less energy. A LED Light is up to 80% more efficient. primarily because most of the energy is converted into light rather than heat. As well you can choose the colour of the light you want to use. All of this results in significant financial savings.
Since the signs were being replaced, it made sense to give the storefront a fresh new look with new graphics and signage. We were contacted to help redesign Norelco’s storefront perforated window graphics and overhead fascia sign. The new sign was created to reflect their company name and a brief description of what Norelco is about. The sign is much less “noisy” and easier to see from the street. As with most companies, this was vital to this customer as they get a lot of drive-by traffic on a daily basis.
By the time the project was completed the Norelco SafeCAM had new LED Light in their overhead fascia sign, newly designed and installed signs, and new window graphics displaying their products.
