We recently completed an internal signage project for ELITE Sports & Fitness, a new health facility located just north of Pittsburgh, PA. An entrance sign and a large fitness center wall sign were produced and installed in their refurbished location.
Distinctive signs were needed to connect the entrance and fitness center spaces. The fitness center brand is now displayed at the entrance as well as on a large wall sign prominently displayed in the fitness space. The signs enhance the center and allow for continuity throughout.
Olympic and professional athletes have been trained by ELITE’s owner, Bryan Stefanik. ELITE Sports & Fitness focuses on the individual and tailors a training program for each client to achieve real results. We focused on each detail of the client’s signage needs and produced signs that enhanced the center and improved the client’s impression as they enter the location and during a workout.
During the initial meeting with the ELITE team, we visited the new location and assessed the site. We inquired about the business and the desired goal for the new signage in the facility. Layout & production of the signs ensued and installation of the signs took just a few short hours. The lobby sign measures 30″ high x 64″ wide x ¼” thick and is made of black polished acrylic with high-quality vinyl lettering. The die cut white and yellow logo was applied to the surface of the acrylic and was installed using four brushed aluminum standoffs that sit 1” off the wall. The fitness area wall sign measures 48.5” total in height and 111” (9.25’) wide. The Gatorfoam letters spelling “ELITE” are 1” thick and are 3’ tall and we were able to match Elite’s black logo with a splash of yellow in the “I.” Acrylic faces were used to provide a gloss finish. The sign letters are secured to the wall with VHB doubled-faced tape & silicone.
Our solutions to ELITE’s signage needs resulted in their brand being prominently displayed in both the entrance sign and the large fitness space wall sign. The high gloss signs feature ELITE’s new paint combinations and led to a well branded & blended facility.
