We were contacted by our clients at HBK Valuation, Litigation and Forensics to create signage for their new downtown space. They recently moved onto a different floor of their building and they consulted with us on signage for their new space. They wanted a feature sign to greet employees and customers as they entered their space and we fulfilled the request with a custom lobby sign. Also, their main conference room sits next to the main lobby and they wanted to ensure privacy for their many client meetings. This led to the Spark team sharing various privacy film options for the windows. Lastly, we applied identification graphics to the entrance door.

HBK is a multidisciplinary financial services firm that offers hundreds of professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional client service.
They offer a wide range of tax, accounting, audit, business advisory, valuation, financial planning, wealth management, and support services over 16 offices in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and Florida. Our project was centered around their Pittsburgh office that handles valuation services.
To prepare for this project, we consulted with our client by phone and held multiple on-site visits. We shared samples of the different sign materials that would be used. The client had an idea in mind for the lobby sign and really liked the brushed silver aluminum look. We measured the wall and then placed their logo in brushed silver on a rendering to give them a tangible design. For the privacy film the client wanted only a portion of the glass to be covered, so we shared multiple examples of different etched film materials.
Once the proofs were approved by our client, we started fabricating and installing the lobby sign, privacy films, and identification graphics. The letters and logo of the lobby sign were cut out of aluminum with a brushed finish. We mounted the 5’X2’ sign flush to the wall with 
double-face tape. After being presented the different film materials for the conference room windows the client decided to an etched material with the HBK “lotus” logo printed on the film then applied the graphics to the glass windows. Every company within this large Pittsburgh office building needs identifications graphics, in this case, vinyl lettering, to let people know the name and hours of the company. In HBK’s case, we added two principals of the company.
