Recently, we worked with The CMMI Institute, a Pittsburgh-headquartered organization and global leader in the advancement of best practices in people, process, and technology. While preparing for its annual conference held in Washington D.C., The CMMI Institute turned to Spark Signs & Graphics to think of the best way to highlight its brand and its unique way of finding efficiency. Together, we developed multiple displays that not only caught the eyes of conference participants but helped make it a success.
In the images below, you can see a few of the displays we produced for The CMMI Institute. The tall narrow signs are Silverstep retractable banners, the smaller red sign is an Observe Pro Sign Stand display, and the larger graphic is a stretch fabric background display banner. Sliverstep retractable banners are designed to be durable, stylish, and reusable. The Observe Pro Sign Stand includes an easy-to-attach grip that is useful for the interchange of multiple signs throughout an event. The stretch fabric display banner is an easy-to-maintain option for larger displays. The clean, seamless appearance makes a background for photo opportunities. Notice how the sharp contrast in color makes the banner almost look like a mural. The font of multiple languages adds an interactive touch to the sign and its environment, while the Twitter hashtag encourages collaboration through a social media contest.
Our relationship with The CMMI Institute started because they were searching for a more local source for displays. In previous years, they had utilized an online service, but one big element was missing: human contact that could help strategize the best signage for their needs. With our high-touch customer service, we sat down with CMMI’s marketing team to understand their needs. We shared multiple examples of display systems that we felt would fit their needs, and we also worked with several partner vendors to brainstorm new ideas and solutions.
Throughout all our efforts, we considered displays where the hardware could be re-used at future conventions. This way, the next time CMMI wants to develop new signage, it would only need to have banner materials and signs printed, and not purchase new hardware.
Our time spent with The CMMI Institute highlights a couple of key features of our organization. The first being our personal consultation process; we take the time to sit down and discuss the needs of an organization. This hands-on process ensures that our products are exact and delivered on time.
