\"IMG_0374\"When Freshii wanted to open their second location in the Pittsburgh area they needed an experienced sign company to help them prepare for a successful grand opening. Spark Signs not only has experience working with retail establishments but in this case specifically with a franchise owner and their corporate office. Our client needed large outdoor signage and authentic indoor signage to help brand their new space. Branding is extremely important to both the exterior and interior of a business space, particularly when it is a new brand to the market.<\/span><\/p>\n

The photos show the exterior channel letter signs on both the side of the building and above the restaurant\u2019s entrance. Also included are shots of the PIN letters we installed and grand opening banners we installed. While working in New York City for the fashion designer Oscar de la Renta, Matthew Corrin was inspired by \u201cmom-and-pop\u201d delis with fresh food but lackluster branding and service. He sought to \u201cadd magic to the fresh food business\u201d and, in 2005, founded Freshii<\/a>. The chain now operates hundreds of locations in cities and countries around the world to help guests live better by making healthy food convenient and affordable. The menu is \"IMG_9883\"constantly evolving and every 90 days they produce new items that incorporate the latest health and food trends.<\/span><\/p>\n

To prepare for this project, we talked with our client multiple times during the bidding process, as well as visiting the site several times. The first part of the project was to apply temporary window graphics at the new location to start promoting the restaurant. With the client pleased by our work, we were awarded the exterior channel letter and interior PIN letter project. We sent renderings of the signs and once the client was satisfied, we worked with the Cranberry Township to permit the signs.<\/span><\/p>\n

After the township approved the signage, we began the fabrication process. We created two internally illuminated channel letter signs to install on the building structure. Both were fabricated from aluminum and included white acrylic faces. These letters were attached to an aluminum raceway that closely matched the color of the brick to create a fluid design. The two finished signs ranged from sizes of 3\u2019x6\u2019 to 3\u2019x15\u2019. \u00a0We set an installation date in advance of the opening, with plenty of time to \"Freshiispare, and installed the two sign groupings: \u201cfreshii\u201d and \u201cEAT. ENERGIZE.\u201d to the side of the building and \u201cfreshii\u201d over the main entrance to the restaurant.<\/span><\/p>\n

We came back to the site after the interior renovation was complete and installed white acrylic PIN letters to a unique wall mural of green ivy. The letters nestled into the ivy to create a really cool wall mural.\u00a0 We also provided \u201cNOW HIRING\u201d signs to help increase the number of applicants and \u201cNOW OPEN\u201d signage to let the public know there was a new restaurant open to serve their hunger.<\/span><\/p>\n

Finally, we printed \u201cGrand Opening\u201d and \u201cNow Open\u201d banners and installed them prior to the grand opening.<\/span><\/p>\n
