When Best Buy purchased a state-of-the-art package management system, they wanted to brand it.  As they are an industry leader in the retail sale of consumer electronics, they knew the value of branding. As we have done many of these, we knew how to proceed.

Best Buy was not certain what they could do on a system like this. Were photos possible? How would they look? Stay with art? Maybe just use the yellow price tag? One of the advantages of working with Optimum Signs is that our experience has shown us what works best in environments like this.  High volume, high traffic areas require a special design type to capture the customer’s attention.  Another advantage of working with Optimum Signs is that we know the correct material and laminate to use for a project like this. The wrong vinyl will lift. He wrong laminate will change the color of the customer’s logo.  All of this has to be taken into consideration when running a project like this.  And we have done plenty of these.

Our designers and installers all have many years working in the field and understand all the details that have to be taken into consideration when installing a design like this one.  Do you level to the floor or the top of the system? Is the frame wrapped or left exposed?  Because we design, print and install these types of projects, we understand all of the potential issues.  Our installers know that a wrap like this one needs to be heated to the edges so that the vinyl doesn’t lift over time.  And most importantly, they know not to take the wrap around the corners of the doors.  There isn’t enough surface area for the vinyl to hold to (a mistake we made on the early systems).
