Recently, we received a call from the folks over at Gilton Solid Waste Management. They were looking for a fresh new look for their sign. They were ready for a change and we were more than happy to create one for them.
As you look at the picture, you can see that the bright letters, numbers, and logo of this monument sign look great. The structure was existing so we gave it a fresh coat of paint to look like new again. When we removed the old letters and added the new ones, the sign suddenly popped again. It looks perfect in front of their building.

First, we needed to paint the existing monument sign. It was still in good shape so all it needed was a fresh look. We Tex-coated and painted to match using BM Cream Fleece. We went with a 3M Vinyl Perforated for the company name. This is a great choice because the tiny holes allow sunlight to filter through and naturally illuminate the letters and numbers. We went ahead and cut out the existing aluminum faces and replaced them with brand new ones. We chose an aluminum router with acrylic push-thrus with vinyl overlays. This was a printed vinyl on 3M Perforated using 3M 27 Indigo with 8518 lam, printed to match. The ½” thick acrylic dimensional letters on the lower portion of the sign, were set flush to the sign and stud mounted. Also painted to match with a 3M 27 Indigo. We added the letters to both the front and back so the sign was visible from any direction.
