At City signs we like to start off all our sign proposals by meeting with our customers. When we receive a phone call, email or walk in customer we typically collect information that would be helpful to determine where you are located, your business name, and if you have any logos or artwork you would like to utilize. We then set up an appointment for our customers to meet with one of our surveyors at the job site, this way we know what signs need to be replaced or what area of your building is requiring new signage. During this meeting our surveyor asks a series of questions to get to know you and your business such as a price point your feel comfortable working with, what sign options would be available to you and what it is that you want from a sign.
At the time of the survey we collect measurements of the designated sign area and pictures to bring back to the shop. Our surveyor then meets with our design team and explains any concerns, wants and needs that our customer may have mentioned and we then begin working on a rendering or “proof” of your signage. As you can see from the example the rendering contains information such as the specs of the work, measurements, address of the job site, colors that will be used, as well as super imposed images to create a mock up of how your final product will look.
Once we have our customers approval and all the changes have been made to personalize their signs depending on the type of signs, we send the approved files to our in house production team to commence with cutting materials, fabrication and eventually the file will reach our service team. Our service manager will then reach out to your customers and schedule an installation date that works best with both parties. As you can see from the examples, our renderings show how the final product looks exactly like the proposed signs on the proof pages that way there are no surprises when we install the final signs.
