There is a lot that comes with starting a new businesses especially if you are building from the ground up, literally. When building a new building it is important and necessary that you make the community aware of safety hazards around the area and what better way to do so then through signage? Because these signs are meant to be displayed outdoors it is important that the sign is durable enough to outlast any weather condition as the construction may take months to be completed and the sign will need to be displayed until construction is over. A site sign might just be what you are looking for.

Construction Site signs are very customizable and there are quite a few options. You could do an MDO sign installed into the dirt or you can go with a skid sign that is very heavy and stands alone without having to install into the ground, both made from wood. The Skid signs are designed to be heavy and hard to move for windy days or to prevent someone from taking them. Which ever option you choose to proceed with you can customize its size, color combinations and even the verbiage or graphics you would like to display on your sign.

Our most recent site signs included the company’s logo for marketing and advertising purposes. This sign for our customers at DeGraff was constructed out of treated plywood (MDO) and 4″ Wooden Posts painted white. The support of this sign is made of 2′ x 4′ support posts that allows the sign to stand straight without tipping over in the winds. The Verbiage and graphics are displayed using printed graphics that were applied onto the 1/2″ thick MDO substrate. In some cases there are site signs that are required per the City to start construction in the area and they typically display the dates that construction will start, these sign include site plans that are provided by the city and don’t allow much graphics such as company logos.

At City Signs all of our customers are a priority and we do our best to accommodate their needs when it come to completion dates and handling the permit application with the City’s if needed.
