Product: Lobby Signage
Location: East Pittsburgh, PA
Client: Intervala
There are often times when companies go through different types of transitions. The former Ducommun contract manufacturing company is now Intervala. Intervala came to us when needing new signage to reflect the new company. We created twenty-two different styles of signage including three large aluminum signs consisting of their globe logo along with lettering.
In the first photo, you’ll notice that it is done differently than the sign in the second photo. For the first display, we created individual letters and their globe logo. These were adhered with stand-off studs that are placed into pre-drilled holes in the wall. Installing them this manner provides an inviting 3d look. For the second sign style, we removed the former company name and recovered the aluminum panels with metallic vinyl and the new company name. The results are two very professional looking displays.
The individual letters are made from a half inch PVC which we had carved on our CNC router. The major benefit of using PVC for these is the beautiful look with reduced cost. It is a solid material that we paint with long-lasting enamel paints. PVC has become increasingly popular in the sign industry because of its sturdiness.
With all of the different options in the signs and graphics industry, it would be our pleasure to match you with the right products and services to fit your business. Whether you’re a new business or looking for the best ways to advertise, we’ve got you covered.
