Project: Large sized Banners
Location: Olathe, KS
Client: Travanse Living
Last week Thursday, June 16, we were contacted by Sage Age Strategies, a company that works for the ownership company of Travanse Living. They called us looking for someone capable of turning around 3 large sized banners and a panel sign in a week. Even with a tight deadline, we managed to squeeze it into our production schedule and go through the proof, revision, and approval process together with Sage and Travanse.
In the images above, you see the portes-cochères where the banners were to be mounted. The north and south areas of the left and the east face on the right. As you can see, it was a decent sized banner needed to, one, run all the way across, and two, be seen from exiting the highway nearby. Below are the finished products of the banners and the panel sign we did for Travanse. The final sizes came out to be two 3’x36’ banners, one 3’x30’ banner, and one 4’x8’ panel sign.
Travanse Living is a senior living home in Olathe, KS, located right next to the Olathe Regional Medical Center. Being located next to a major hospital facility, providing quick access to I-35, and specializing in long-term memory care, Travanse provides a tremendous value to you and your loved ones who are ready to take this step.
To create these banners, we digitally printed on a strong and affordable 13 oz. banner material, great for temporary projects. Because of how windy the area is around the building, we recommended screw mounting every two feet to the façade. We used strong nickel grommets on the hem and secured the banners to the efface and the brown aluminum strip with TEK screws, 2” screws, washers and plastic anchors. Due to how the mounting surface of the portes-cochère rested under a 3-foot eave, we had to rent a jib lift that could swing and maneuver as needed on the install. This was not something that could be done well with ladders.
When or if you find yourself in Travanse’s shoes, remember that banners are a great option to create visibility to all who pass by your shop. They are great for grand openings, promotions, or temporary and limited offer messages.
Remember that every empty face of your physical assets has the possibility to create a lead for you, by making it into a sign. In Travanse’s case, they took simple portes-cochères and an old panel sign and turned it into great looking, lead generating signs. If you are looking to do something like Travanse did, or go a different route with signage, and would like some help, our expert staff is here and happy to assist you.
