Do you own or run a business or organization in the Bellevue, Washington area?
Are you looking for a local company who can design and install a new sign for the outside of your building?
Have you heard of the Step Computer Academy, located in Bellevue?
The picture in this article shows a sign that we installed not too long ago for them. It’s an exterior building sign that we made using half-inch dimensional letters, which were color matched to the blue in their logo. They are a great, affordable type of sign product that we often install.
These types of dimensional letters can be made from a variety different materials including PVC, polished bronze, aluminum and plastic.
Molded plastic is going to be your most affordable option, and has its benefits as well. Molded plastic can be purchased in almost any color and are designed to hold up to the elements and the ultraviolet rays in the sun that cause fading.
The letters are mounted to the side of the building with small pegs that stick out from the back of the letters that fit into holes drilled into the side of the building. Silicon adhesive is used to secure them in place.
In order to make sure that the letters are aligned properly and level we use a paper pattern that we create using the actual letters to form a template. Replace the template over the building in the correct location and drill the holes so that when the letters are mounted they will be perfectly aligned.
