When Stephen Exley of Cendura Funding approached us about his signage needs, we were happy to collaborate with him and get him some design idea options.
Many real estate companies set up their offices in close proximity to a title company and funding company. This added benefit offers all options for their buyers and sellers without having to meet anywhere else. Cendura funding had recently moved into the ReMax offices in Katy and needed signage for their office door and also on the front door to the ReMax office.
We utilized a design that incorporated their logo & hours of operation as a cut graphic with black and red colors for their office door and white cut graphics for the front door. Simple, to the point and basic, but do not think that their sign didn’t do it’s job. Since it was a ReMax office, the building facing sign and pylon marquee was already in place. Lucky for Cendura, all they had to do was inform all ReMax’s customers that their services were available within the walls too. Their succinct sign did just that without costing them much money at all!
For greatest impact, we chose to print the design on economical calendered vinyl for the office door and intermediate plotter vinyl for the front door. No need to use any high performance vinyls as both of the surfaces were fully covered in shade or inside the building. The door was wood with a glass insert so keeping the print on white vinyl as opposed to a translucent option is what gave it the pop it needed!
We printed the 12”x12” office door design on a 3 mil high gloss Avery Dennison 700 series vinyl and used the matching gloss overlaminate. We cut the pieces out for the 12”x20” graphic for the front door on our Graphtec plotter and removed the negative vinyl through the weeding process. Both graphics were covered with transfer tape and protective paper to get them ready for the install.
After cleaning & prepping both glass doors, we were ready for the installation. We always clean the windows both inside and out in it’s entirety, even though the graphics are applied to the front only. It’s just a courtesy we offer for our clients and one of the many ways we like to offer more than the client is expecting.
The graphics were installed by centering and carefully measuring and leveling. Since there were existing graphics on the entrance doors, we also had to level our graphics with those. Our installers are meticulous in the details and won’t stop until the job is 100% perfect as promised!
