We are the West Houston area’s premier sign production facility specializing in both indoor and outdoor signs for businesses and other groups in the community. We carry a large line of banner signs and graphics like those developed for Hope for Three’s Golf “fore” Autism Fundraiser. This annual event at Sugar Creek Country Club in Sugarland, TX, brings individuals and business partners together to enjoy a day of golf, fun and creative games, dinner and awards ceremony all to support the charitable organization.

Caroline Bordelon approached us with the need to donate custom signs for the golf event. With a large variety of sponsorship opportunities available, we chose an option that would greatly benefit the Autism advocates and decrease their costs so they kept more money where it belonged-in the charity.

As a local non-profit, Hope for Three has one focus-Autism. They are the only non-profit in the greater Houston area with Autism spectrum disorder at their core and the only one to provide financial assistance in Fort Bend County. Millions of children have autism and we were proud to help this very worthy organization.

As you can see from the photos, the golf event couldn’t have been a success without key signs throughout the event. Some signs were directional or informational; their purpose was to tell the golfers and volunteers the pertinent information of the day-the daily itinerary of events, the times they began & ended directing them to the prospective spots. Other signs were for the sponsorships. It was imperative to have name and brand incentives for individuals and businesses to receive recognition for their contributions. These signs were just as important, if not more, as the possibility for donation sponsorships couldn’t exist without them.

Beginning with the check-in process,  we provided coroplast signs directing the golfers to the registration table to check in or register. The table itself had a sign to denote the golfers were at the right place to check in. Behind the registration table, was a banner we hung above the awning at the pro shop. It was a huge welcome banner for everyone.

The next sign represented all of the underwriters and sponsors including sponsorship level, business or individual name and logos. We decided to create a large backdrop banner to prominently display all of the sponsors info. So the volunteers could move the signs to the different event locations throughout the tournament, we offered to loan them our banner stand to convert the sign into a portable one.

Signs for the golf course included the hole sponsors and tee box sign. They were constructed of coroplast and h-stakes to install in the soft ground at the designated holes and tee boxes. We also moved the tournament sponsor banner near the golf course so that the participants could take pictures in front of it. A nice photo op to post on their own social media sites and get even more recognition!

Hope for Three also wanted some signs to represent their vision, celebrate their 5th anniversary, explain their mission and share the opportunity for donations at the event and some to use for future events. We decided to create a retractable banner with their mission statement, vision and branding on it so they could re-use it and safely store when not needed. For the other signs, we decided to create large coroplast ones that were both event specific and generic. They were hung on the wall or placed on an easel near the registration table and then moved inside during the dinner banquet.

Some signs were specific only to the type of sponsorship and only included one business opportunity. One such example was for the dinner underwriter. Their sponsorship benefits included a large sign denoting their support and also small signs for each guest dinner table. We created double sided table tents so they would meet that levels benefit criteria but also not obstruct the golfers while they were dining.

All in all, it was a very successful event for Hope for Three and we were honored to be a part of it. Do you have a golf tournament coming up?
