Our local Katy ISD elementary school wanted to raise money for different programs for the kids. They knew the 2 groups they could count on-one was their amazing PTA and the other was Front Row Signs. Always eager to help the schools, we had created signs and banners in the past for this particular school, Shafer Elementary in Katy. So when the current PTA President gave us a call, we didn’t hesitate to offer our help again!
Due to some existing discrepancies with the original installation from a different company, we decided it was best to keep the existing 12×18 aluminum blank but remove and replace the existing vinyl. We created a design that included a similar style as the previous design but made the 2 signs identical except for the different family names. We chose an economical vinyl, Orafol Orajet 3164, which is a 4 mil PVC gloss white vinyl with a clear permanent water-based adhesive. Even though it was an economy grade vinyl, it still could last outdoors for up to 4 years. Though we knew this time length was not necessary, we knew it would keep the black design, which is highly susceptible to fading, crisp and fresh regardless of the weather.
We had the designs created with the new names of the auction winners and were ready to move forward. Did you know that each time the status changes during your job, you will receive an email from us notifying you? We believe that it is important for the client to know the progress of their job in real time. We hate waiting in silence just as much as you do so we feel an informed client is a happy client! 
Next, we removed the signs from the poles at the school and brought them back to our showroom to complete the production process. We pulled off the existing vinyl, clean and prepped the aluminum balnk and laid down the new designed vinyl for each sign and each family. We then drilled holes through the vinyl in the exact same spot they were previously. We retained all of the original hardware since it was in good shape. This allowed us to pass on the savings to the school. They were very appreciative of that and thrilled with the end results!
