HOBafterProject: Full Removal of a Bad Wrap
Location: Tustin, CA
Client: House of Blinds
Recently, we were contacted by a company located in Tustin, California called House of Blinds. They had a cargo van that was in need of a full removal of a vehicle wrap that had faded and started to peel. We assured them that by removing the old wrap and then installing a fresh one to the van, they would have a more effective form of advertising.
Because the old vehicle wrap had faded so much, it was difficult to make out the full image that had once been a great form of advertisement for the company. Just by looking at these images, it is almost impossible to tell what exactly this van is advertising because of the poor quality of the wrap that was placed there before they contacted us. The photos showing the new wrap we installed for them just goes to show the pride we take in the quality of the products we use.
Whether you are just looking to spruce up your space a bit with some new décor, or you are an interior designer looking for the perfect pieces to decorate a client’s home, House of Blinds should be number one on your list of places to check out for your needs. They specialize in a range of décor options in addition to window treatments. Located in Tustin, California, their design experts are ready to help you make your house feel more like home.

The process to remove the old wrap was a challenge and with the use of some muscle and small tools to assist us in getting under the corners and edges, we were able to completely remove the faded wrap. After the removal process, we then had to even out the base of the van in preparation for the new graphics. Before the new wrap is adhered to the van, we measured the material to be sure that we had a good fit and there would be no creasing or air bubbles. Using a squeegee while applying the material, we ensured that the entire surface is completely smooth. All of the work was completely worth it once the client saw how great the new graphics look.
Everywhere you look, you see advertisements. They are all over the place in different forms of signage, radio announcements, television commercials, and even clothing that people around you are wearing. Billions of dollars are spent every year on simply advertising for small local businesses and multi-billion dollar corporations alike. The difference with vehicle wraps is that you reach a much larger audience on your service routes. Just sitting in traffic or at a stop light becomes a huge marketing opportunity as well. A vehicle wrap is a wise investment to make especially when you look at the cost of stationary signs that people aren’t guaranteed to even look at. You are paying a one-time price for years of continuous advertising.
