The First Tee of Cleveland wants to honor those donors who so graciously contributed to the participants in their program. They called on Signs PDQ for ideas for a lobby sign that would display the donors names. This “Honor Wall” shows everyone who enters The First Tee of Cleveland that donations are vital to the program. This lobby sign honors many donors from all over the United States for three levels of donation. Each and every contribution enhances the programs and allows the first tee to reach more students throughout Cleveland.
The Shaker Heights Public Library was looking for a way to track contributions while encouraging library visitors to become part of the “Friends of the Shaker Library” program. Signs PDQ designed this large”Ring the Bell” thermometer to help convey this message and monetary goal. This large sign is located in the lobby of the library. Segments of red vinyl, provided by Signs PDQ, are added to the thermometer when smaller goals are met with hopes to reach the top! In addition to the actual thermometer is a brief explanation of the “Friends of the Library” program. We added plastic holders that hold information on the programs for visitors to take with them.
The Boys and Girls Club of Cleveland, a long standing customer of Signs PDQ, asked us for a lobby sign that expresses their gratitude for the gifts from several donors. After thinking outside the box, we decided to produce the logo and message out of laser cut acrylic and flat mount them to solid white acrylic. The logo and letters , which were laser cut at Signs PDQ, were then painted specific colors to match the Boys and Girls Club logo. These tactile letters give this sign an upscale look that represents the gratitude from The Boys and Girls Club.
