Lobby Wall Graphic
Early Steps Learning Center wanted to spruce up their lobby. Every single day parents and care takers drop their children off and pick them up after walking through this lobby. It was important to this business to welcome visitors in a special way. After installing a bulletin board, the folks at Early Steps knew they needed something more to enhance this area. Contacting Signs PDQ was the next step in the process. Applying the logo to the actual bulletin board was the initial idea. Soon they realized that not only was the logo too small but the bulletin board was needed for other announcements. The next step was to measure the actual wall and existing bulletin board.
Two windows used for visitors to communicate to the Early Steps Staff are on a perpendicular lobby wall. In order to balance the actual lobby the decision was made to install a second logo above the windows…as seen on the picture to the right.

Both walls were then carefully measured. The designer at Signs PDQ quickly designed a proof that included these measurements to scale. We had produced other signage for them so their logo file was in the correct format for this type of project. We then knew the exact size the logo would need to be in order to complete the lobby. This calculation is used to complete the estimate. This estimate was quickly approved by our customer…on to the next step!
Color is an important aspect to all signs. When printing a logo like this the color must be spot on…exact. The next step is to contour cut the logo. This cut is set up while designing the logo. After the cut is checked to be certain it is correct, it is prepared for installation. Correct installation of both logos is important in order to achieve the desired affect.
