How Do I Clean A Sign?

Depending on what type of sign you have installed, mainly a non-chemical cleaning, soft sponge and non-abrasive cloth will do the trick. This helps remove any dirt or dust that your sign would have caught, making it look spotless again.

Is Power Washing Recommended For Sign Cleaning?

For signs that are harder to reach, as in, the ones that are placed higher, we suggest that you avoid using a power washer because it can damage your signage, given the pressure it works at. But, understanding the fact that you may not have the time to climb up a ladder and clean the sign, you could use a power washer, but you need to ensure that the water power is at the lowest level. Using too much power could cause irreparable damage and this is something you will not want.

Can Car Wax Be Used Over Vehicle Wraps?

The answer is no. Car wax is used to protect your vehicle’s paint, but it does no good for your vehicle wrap. If used, they would damage the wraps, causing you more expense on repairing or replacing them. Car wraps in a way protect the paint of your vehicle and hence, using a soft cloth and soapy water should be good enough to clean the car. Many brands have developed special car washes, and if you are using one of them, speak to your sign company to know if it is safe to use those washes.
