We were back at the campus of Cal State Fullerton! In the past, our team commemorated players with concourse signs at the soccer field and put together 3D acrylic letters for the Student Recreation Building. This time, we had a request from the Cal State Fullerton College of Communications to design, fabricate, and install clear acrylic panels with collage prints.
College of Communications Inspires Learners with Collages
Our graphic artist began the design process by sorting through the artwork we received from the client. Next, we arranged the graphics to be visually attractive and allow us to create a clear border around the panels. Our technicians printed the artwork onto clear acrylic panels when the images were arranged.
The advantage of acrylic is its like-glass appearance. Once the panels were completed, we mounted them to the wall with brushed aluminum standoffs. The finished product is elegant, mimics the look of expensive glass frames, and creates an inspiring array of displays that encourages new and future students.
Office Wall Art is Changing from Generic Prints to Custom Designs
