The first project we did for the Magnolia School District consisted of durable mesh fence banners for Salk Elementary. These products beautified the campus while providing students with privacy. This time, the client asked us to visit the Robert M. Pyles STEM Academy in Stanton. There, our team did custom wraps for electrical boxes in Orange County, CA.

The administration at Pyles had a problem. There was an electrical box in front of the nice-looking building and campus. Its presence was necessary and moving it was not a workable solution. However, it stood out as being an ugly presence. Our shop was tasked with making the box blend in.
By designing custom vinyl graphics for electrical boxes, it is possible to make the unsightly box disappear with an optical illusion. For this project, our technicians designed a foliage wrap. We used a high-resolution photo of green foliage that we sized for the box. Next, we thought through the different parts of the box that needed wrapping. With these measurements in hand, we adjusted the print to create a flowing display with all leaves pointing in the same direction.
We added the needed high voltage warnings and other safety messages on one side. Besides that, we ensured that the utility numerals were displayed. We used yellow lettering because it complements the various green shades of the print.
The finished product is an attractive combination of wrap elements that are fully customized. As you can see, there were plenty of obstacles during the installation process. The finished product is an artistic addition to the school’s campus and turns the electrical box into the decor!
