The IBEW Local 441 in Orange County does business out of 309 North Rampart Street. There, the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers assists members with training, education, certification, and wage issues. When the electricians’ union needed a wrap for its utility trailer, its management team contacted our sign shop to assist with the design, production, and installation of vehicle graphics in Orange County.
Working with the Union on an Eye-Catching Trailer Wrap That Gets Attention
The management team had decided on a full utility trailer wrap. Moreover, the team had created a design that features several patriotic style elements. Our graphic artist used these elements and sized them to fit perfectly on the trailer. Moreover, we positioned them to look great and prevent cutoffs because of doors or locks.
Our technicians used a combination of cast and calendared 3M vinyl. We were able to do so because we removed each rivet as we were wrapping the trailer. After each vinyl panel was installed correctly, we replaced the rivets. This simple step kept us from having to use cast vinyl all over the trailer to conform to the rivets’ shapes.
It saved the client money, which is always a major consideration for us. Besides that, the removal and subsequent replacement of the rivets led to a visually stunning display since none of the artwork is distorted due to the forced conforming of the material.
Now, those seeing the wrapped trailer with its custom graphics cannot help but notice the patriotic style elements that are intertwined with the union’s logo and niche-specific imaging. It is fair to say that this trailer is an excellent branding and marketing tool for the IBEW Local 441.
What Could You Do with a Customized Trailer Wrap?
Whether you are a union, business, or a hobbyist, you could get some great uses out of the design and installation of a custom trailer wrap.
- Contact information. If you run a business, oversee a volunteer organization, or spearhead a hobbyist association, consider presenting plenty of contact information. The consumer will be able to reach out to you online, via social media, phone, and perhaps even by email.
- Brand message. What is your business or organization all about? Use the space on the trailer’s sides and back to highlight what makes you different from others in the same niche. We can help you explore colorful or monochromatic methods of drawing the eye of motorists and passersby.
- Consumer education. Are there some questions that you are asked repeatedly? Consider placing them and their answers on the sides of your trailer. It is an essential part of consumer education that could make a significant difference in how the prospective customer interacts with you. Besides that, it could be the catalyst for a consumer to connect with your organization versus another one.
