Our shop frequently works with clients who own multiple brands. In these cases, they often request signs that encapsulate the differing messages and color plays. These 3D lobby logo signs in Orange County must fit into the venues that the clients had already created but are sufficiently different to stand alone and perform all the branding tasks that custom signage is supposed to.
Painted Acrylic Style Elements Create an Impressive Brand Look
We worked with our client who provided us with the new company’s color palette. From there, we designed a product that uses half-inch-thick acrylic. Our technicians painted it in the brand’s custom colors and added a matte finish. Notice how the blue and green lettering combines with the black letters to spell out the information.
Because the client had an impressive wood wall to which we were to install the sign, we went with a stud mount. This technique allows the good looks of the elements to display against the darker backdrop. An excellent color contrast, it impresses visitors to the space.
Custom Acrylic Lobby Signs Offer Countless Brand-Building Options
There is more to acrylic than meets the eye. In its basic form, it is a colorless, flat sheet. However, our specialists work with the material to create stunning works of art that double as brand-building tools in reception areas and meeting rooms. Typically, there are two basic options.
- 3D acrylic letters. Take a page from UFT America’s playbook, and opt for three-dimensional, custom-painted letters. When cutting the acrylic, we focus intently on the reproduction of your font. Moreover, we can use acrylic that is up to an inch in depth. When adding your custom colors, choose matte or glossy finishes to make the product stand out even more.
- Logo boards. Another excellent option is the use of a clear acrylic panel. We cut it into the shape you have predetermined. For most clients, this is a square or rectangle. However, we could also do a circle or something else altogether. Next, we add the lettering. Typically, we do so in the form of an imprinted vinyl overlay. Some clients have had excellent success with the combination of underlays and overlays for a 3D look.
From there, you might choose to customize the product even further. For example, when you decide to have the logo panel painted, we can hide LEDs behind the material. It results in an attractive edge illumination. Some clients request material layering, which refers to the use of imprinted vinyl as well as 3D materials for the lettering.
